For many years academic and training courses have typically been taught in “brick and mortar” buildings. With the proliferation of the internet, learning opportunities have expanded far beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom. New technology enables people to take academic or technical courses from anywhere in the world. The field of e-learning has grown exponentially and will continue to grow as the quality of e-learning products improves and the internet continues to play a bigger role in people’s lives and businesses. GETS offers an e-learning solution that is both technologically and methodologically on the cutting-edge. GETS history is rooted in a project started by Brigham Young University scholars and professors over 15 years ago to create the perfect way to combine technology and learning. The project, which cost millions and 286,000 man hours to finish, resulted in the most academically correct, advanced and efficient technology-assisted learning solution in the world. GETS combined state-of-the-art courses with a Learning Management System (LMS) that enabled GETS to track the progress, grade and generate detailed reports about each learner in multiple courses. The original TALL system was used to teach, and help over 90,000 learners become fluent, in English as a second language having the following support languages: Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Samoan and Tongan.

GETS learning programs are made up of a combination of patented and un patented source code. GETS owns the un patented source code and has non-extinguishable, exclusive rights to the patented parts of the code. This source code is the base for all of GETS courses and incorporates user adaptability, systematic-spaced review and task-based activities into each course. GETS has an established client base with multiple schools, universities, and organizations in the United States and Asia.
