Hear what? That Steffy is continuing to shelve Hope for the Future. -We've already been waiting for months. -I understand, and I appreciate the patience. But right now, we need to focus on Couture, give it the care and the energy that it needs, especially now that Granddad's back. Look, I know I don't need to remind you, but Eric Forrester is the heartbeat of this company. He's the patriarch of Forrester Creations. -No, of course, we understand that. -And we are thrilled to have him back, but- Leaving was a big mistake, one he deeply regrets, especially after the Spencer spectacle today,
-Katie using his designs for Logan. -Look, I- I know it doesn't feel fair, Steffy, but Eric did sign a contract. You're starting to sound like a Spencer. I am married to one. I am asking for your understanding. We have supported Hope for the Future for over a decade now. This isn't anything personal. But if you do want to talk about business, there was a time when Hope for the Future was underperforming. How can you expect it to succeed when you're constantly undermining it and me? Steffy, honestly, what is this really about?
Forrester Creations is as much a home away from home for you as it is for me. I grew up here, too. I remember playing in the hallways together when we were little. And as much as we have had hard times, we've always managed to find our way through it, but this, it just, it feels, it feels different. It feels like none of that even matters anymore. So I'm asking you, is there a place for me here at Forrester Creations, or is there no use for me or my line? Because I don't know, it feels like that's what you're trying to tell me. So if, if that is the case, maybe I should just go work somewhere else.
Like where? Think of everything that Hope has contributed to the fashion world over the years. I mean, Hope for the Future, it is a, it is a world-renowned line, and do Steffy and Ridge care? No, they don't care. In fact, they act like they resent it. And so Hope and her line have been all but forgotten. And by the way, I have a front row seat to this, because I have seen this woman come home from work day after day, dejected, just trying to process how unfairly she's been treated, specifically, unfortunately, by Steffy. Hope, you are not given the respect you deserve. -Same as you, Katie. -Yeah. And the Dressmaker and Brooke, they didn't show you the respect you deserved.
Well, that, um, thank you. [laughs] Some of that may be true, but I just, I don't think we should get into it tonight, because tonight is about celebrating Katie- -Well- -. and everything that she's -accomplished. -Yes. No, y- yes, yes, but with everyone's blessing, I think tonight could be about you, too. Me? Yeah, you. Katie is not the only Logan who's been mistreated over at Forrester over the years, and frankly, it's pretty damn frustrating to watch the woman I admire and respect more than anyone in the world constantly being told that her contributions don't matter. It doesn't have to be this way.
You could finally get out from under Ridge and Steffy's, what's the word I'm looking for? Tyranny. S- what are you saying? I'm saying that Katie is contemplating the future of her company right now. And what if, what if that included you, my smart, beautiful, talented wife? What if Logan's next line was yours, Hope? Mom would flip out if she thought it was happening again. I mean, first Eric, then -me? I- -Okay, Brooke wouldn't be happy about it.
-It's your life, Hope, your career. -Yes. Yes, and it's a career that [laughs] that has flourished. But wouldn't it be so much more gratifying and so much more refreshing to work with the wind at your back, with people that you're not constantly having to battle just to turn your vision into a reality? It's a great opportunity, Hope. It is, and I, I, I'm not saying it isn't, really. I am flattered. It's just, look, what Logan needs is a designer, and that's not me. That's not what matters yet. Your name is known all around the world. You don't just do fashion, you do messaging, and it's an important message. You're a trendsetter. And besides, selfishly, I would get to work with my talented, hot wife and my dad
and Katie. It's like the ultimate dream team. Come on. Hear, -hear. -Katie, is this not the solution we've been looking for? Come on, Hope. What do you say? Hope, I think you're overreacting. Am I? Because I'm coming to you as co-CEO to tell you that I am feeling unappreciated here at Forrester. You still have a line, Hope. We're just prioritizing. My grandfather is back now. He's the founder of this company. Look, the way your aunt moved, going behind our backs, putting her claws into my grandfather,
she stabbed us in the back, and I'm not gonna forget that. Right, but I'm asking you about my future here at Forrester Creations. You know how much this company and Hope for the Future means to me, Steffy, and I think you know that my line will die if we don't put out a new collection. Don't you think you're being a little over-dramatic? It's just being postponed for a bit, okay? You're not taking me seriously here. I'm asking you, do I have a future here at Forrester Creations, or should I look someplace else?
You have grown and blossomed at Forrester, and it's gotten you ready for something more. Logan will present you with all kinds of new and exciting challenges. Take a chance. Liam and I believe in you. Katie believes in you. Start a new line. Call it, God, I don't know, call it Hope. Like I said, we're your family now. - -Sounds kind of good, doesn't it? I mean, you, you spearhead something new. You build your own team.
Anything you want, you'll have it. -No more waiting for handouts. -And no more bowing and begging Princess Steffy. Logan is crushing it. I mean, we killed it right out of the gate. We have more orders than we know what to do with. The same thing will happen for you when you -create your line. -And listen, this doesn't have to happen overnight. You take your time. You ease into it. No, I, I understand that. It's just my mother, she's such a huge part of Forrester Creations, and, I mean, so am I. I- I- Do you think that they see you that way? Because your line just keeps getting pushed to the side,
and you're gonna spend the rest of your life -colliding with Steffy and Ridge. -I- I am sick of that part, but j- uh, the fallout would be- -It would be explosive. -Exactly. If she accused you of stealing the Logan name, and now they're saying that you took advantage of Eric, that you -stole his designs- -Oh, for God's sake. If I said it once, I said it 1,000 times. Eric came to us, asked to be our lead designer. We paid him very handsomely for those designs. We own them. And more importantly, Hope, your mom knows this, and I'm sorry, but she's being petty, and there is plenty of space in Brooke's mind and her heart for her sister's success.
Have we convinced you? Again, I'm, I'm not a designer. Yeah. So? You had designers at Forrester, and you'll have them here. The best that money can buy. You're not happy there at Forrester. You're not, and this is the solution. This could be a whole new beginning for you. Absolutely.
Still, it's not, uh, my decision. It's not Liam's decision. It's up to you and Katie. If I left Forrester Creations and came to Logan, Brooke would kill me.
