A frozen pizza is fine, but it doesn't have to be. We're going to take one inexpensive frozen pizza and make it truly epic. This was a frozen cheese pizza. Four cheese, I think. We think that's mozzarella. We thought it was feta for a minute. Uh was frozen, now defrosted. Just left it out on the counter. When you see what this can become, I think you might be like How did they do that? Well, you're going to see how we do it.

This will go into a square pan. This We're going to How about we just show you instead? Let's start by making a little vodka sauce. We have a little pot on the heat. We give it a little olive oil and add some diced onions. Fairly fine. I mean, listen, if you want big chunks of onion in your vodka sauce, cool. I prefer them a little smaller. But as we always say, you do you. These are going to get about 3 minutes just until they start to soften. All right, garlic time. Ah. Beautiful. Let it start to get fragrant. And when it does, you can give it a little mix in.

Boy, is that nice. Oh, I know it looks like a lot. It's just one of these little cans. And we mix. This is going to get about 5 minutes. Just going to give the tomato paste a chance to have the flavor intensify. That's what we're going for. And all this stuff that's sticking to the bottom, don't worry about it. We're coming back for that. All right, it's vodka time. Not a ton. It's not a cocktail. It's a pasta sauce. Basically. A sauce-tail. And now you'll see this business on the bottom starts to come up because of the liquid. I mean, water would have done that, but of course we're using the vodka. Because that's

the name of the sauce. And if I had switched to a spoon Oh. See the flame? Oh man, the flame just hit. I mean, I'm not surprised, but doesn't always. Let me just take it off. Stir it down. Come on, you. Cut it out. The spoon will help get the stuff stuck on the bottom off better than that little spatula would. Let's add some cream now. Mix this in. All right, let's add two more things. Some red pepper flakes and smoked paprika. And get this smooth. It looks like what it's supposed to be.

Salt and pepper, where are you? All right, let's just give this 2 minutes to come together a little better. Okay. Here's where we want it. Looking pretty, smelling amazing. Take it off the heat, let it cool a bit. Let me get the pan and we'll show you how to make this happen. All right, this has been in the oven about 15 minutes at 450°. That's hot. This is not and that's oil that's been in there with it. We're going to try and do a little Detroit style thing. And that's going to mean getting some cheese up these edges. So let's see how this works. We have full confidence in this, don't we, young man?

Yes. Okay. Now the defrosted pizza will go like this. Yep, I'm liking this. Typical Detroit pizza is rectangular. So we're taking this cuz there's not many square pizzas out there. Yeah, you can get them, but this is the typical. So this is what we want to help make this thing spectacular. Just a little extra. This is called a major cheat hack. That's what it's called, a major cheat hack. All right, good there? cheat or a hack? It's a hack and a cheat. And now we need our sauce. Remember this? Wow. Yes, you do. All right, this is going to be a one messy SOB. This will be one messy SOB that you're going to love.

More mozzarella. It was already a four cheese pizza. It's now a 40 cheese And last but not least, because we have to. Because we should, because we want to. Baby pepperonis. That's a lot. I wonder how many come in a bag. Wonder if it says how many are there in a bag. Okay, I think that's great. I think this is really perfect. It's rustic a little bit. We have a little bit more cheese. Maybe we just throw a little bit more on top. Okay, back into my 450-ish oven. And we'll see you, you know, in a few minutes. And voilà. Oh, I love what the little

pepperonis are doing grease-wise to the top of this kid, but I think I want to give it about 2 minutes to cool down before I take it out. I want to see if it maintains its structure Detroit pizza-wise, if you know what I mean. All right, 2 minutes. Start the clock. Well, it's time. It's cooled down enough I can touch it. Still a little hot underneath, but now we try and get it out without screwing up its integrity. Is that the right word? Integrity? Structural integrity. Structural integrity, yes. Not its integrity. It's a pizza, it has no integrity. It might You don't know that. Oh, it's looking great.

Oh, look at it. I think we Detroit-ized a cheap-ass cheese pizza and made it about a thousand times better. Okay, so we cut. Now you're talking. Wait, little more cheese? Now you're talking. Nope, now I'm talking. Now the pizza's talking. Now the pizza has integrity. Let's just get everybody in on the game. Because he's This big piece over here is like, "What about me? Why don't I get any of that?" Well, you just got some, son. Well, it's already cut and waiting for me. Why not?

Oh, looks beautiful. A little pepperoni cheesy greasy, just how I like it. And I do believe in taking a bite at the corner first. But since it's got a back corner, Let me tell you something. I don't know what the little cheese pizza that we bought would have tasted like by itself. But not only is the addition of the extra cheese around the outside an upgrade, but that vodka sauce. The vodka sauce. You can make a bunch of that. Just keep in your freezer in little dellies. When you want some, take it out, defrost it, fling it on a cheap-ass pizza, bang it in the oven, and boom! Instant upgrade. I don't want to say we've got your back, but guess what?

We've got your back. Thanks, sir. What was this? I don't know where I was going with this, but I don't mean that. I don't even know what that means. I hope it doesn't mean anything bad. Cuz I meant to do this and ended up with whatever I did. That. I apologize if I did something terrible. All right, see you. Hit the subscribe button. Tonight is the night. It's going to work your hips and soul. Come and dance with me, girl.
