Russian Drone Strikes on Sumy Region Kill One and Injure Civilians

Russian drone attacks overnight hit multiple regions across Ukraine, injuring civilians and damaging infrastructure, regional authorities said. According to Associated Press in the northeastern Sunumi region, an attack on Shasta triggered large-scale fires in residential areas, officials said. A 60-year-old woman died of carbon monoxide poisoning and two other people were also treated for injuries. Ukraine's Air Force said it shot down 154 of the 171 drones launched by Russia overnight. It reported 12 drones hit targets across 10 locations while debris from down drones fell in 12 locations.
