But it is main event time with our NXT Women's Champion, defending her title, as the women of NXT takes center stage. No rest for the weary when you're the champion. Stephanie Vaquer thwarted three challengers Saturday, competed on "Monday Night Raw" last night, and is going to defend her NXT gold right now. (intense music) (crowd cheering) (crowd exclaiming) Booker, this is a Stand & Deliver-worthy main event. It is, anywhere in the world.

I'ma tell you right now, Roxanne Perez, she has been the one, but Stephanie, (bell rings) champion of all champions. The following contest scheduled for one fall, One fall! it's for the NXT Women's Championship! (crowd cheering) Introducing the challenger from Laredo, Texas, Roxanne Perez! (crowd booing) And her opponent from San Fernando, Chile, she is the NXT Women's Champion, Stephanie Vaquer! (crowd cheering and applauding) What a night it has been here on NXT. This is the third championship match. We crowned a new Heritage Cup Champion earlier in the returning Noam Dar, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry made his return,

and because of that, Trick snapped, went on a rampage, and then was tossed from the Fontainebleau Theatre by our General Manager Ava, that has brought us to this matchup and this moment right here, right now. Two of the best in the game, two women who have defined the NXT Women's division at various points in their careers. Booker, how you feeling about this one? I know Roxanne's your girl. I'm feeling real good about it. I mean, it's gonna be a hell of a contest because Stephanie Vaquer has done nothing but one thing and that's step up to the plate.

Give her a lot of credit, man. (referee speaks indistinctly) (crowd clamoring) (Stephanie exclaims) (body thuds) Booker, I gotta get your thoughts here, (Booker T exclaims) major main event. We had some major news that broke over "WrestleMania" weekend, the acquisition of AAA. One! Oh, man, what a great acquisition. Big, big news. And it's been so many great stars coming outta Mexico, starting with Mil Mascaras and ending with Stephanie Vaquer.

Oh, yes, man! Well, Graves, you even have ties to that historic promotion. El Rudo de las Chicas. (Booker T laughs) Cannot wait to see what the future holds. A single-leg takedown by Vaquer. As we focus back in, One! and a little roll through shift to the weight. Again, these two women who know each other so very well, but they know each other very well, Booker. But this is the first time these two have met one-on-one. We call Roxanne Perez "The Prodigy." But I'm gonna tell you right now, Stephanie Vaquer, she's prolific in her own ways.

She's extraordinary, and like I said, becoming double champion, unified champion, she's made history. Can she beat "The Prodigy" tonight? And, guys, I wanna bring this up about Stephanie- Shoulders down. One! And another near fall. Whoa! Is Stephanie once again putting herself at risk as she takes down "The Prodigy"? Another quick kickout. Perez now gonna answer right back into a cover and a kickout. And, Graves, I'll start with you. There's two schools of thought on that.

You can look at it as a positive that Stephanie Vaquer keeps herself razor sharp- Rolling through, shoulders down. Kickout. at all times. But conversely, she's also burning the candle- Oh, wait a minute. Shoulders down with a little bridge. Wow. Beautiful action. And another near fall. Vaquer's burning the candle at both ends. That does not lend itself to a lengthy championship reign. NXT! And I'll bounce that off and go back to you, Booker. I mean, you were a multi-time champion. Is she putting herself at risk by never saying no?

I think she is putting herself at risk because she gotta understand Roxanne Perez is willing to do Ooh! anything to win this match. She's in a unique position, got chance to become three-time NXT Woman's Champion. Something that no woman has done in this company. As Vaquer, who competed Saturday at "Stand & Deliver," Uh-oh, uh-oh. caught Perez, One, two! And another roll-through again, One! counter for counter. And another kickout. Last night on "Raw," Vaquer went up against the Women's World Champion, Iyo Sky, a match that Roxanne Perez interfered in. But that has led them here to tonight, to the main event,

with the NXT Women's Championship on the line. Just speaks to how quickly the landscape changes in WWE these days, whether it be "Raw," "SmackDown," "NXT." Just because you did something for a while does not matter necessarily anymore. Just because Roxanne has been prolific in the past, it doesn't count as much as it did once upon a time. Well, that goes to, Booker, something you say all the time, "What have you done for me lately?" Yes. I mean, I get it, I get it. And like I say, I said Perez is definitely looking to get back and play, but she's got a hard road to hold

because Stephanie Vaquer, she's unique. (Roxanne exclaims) She's special. Ooh! A special talent, man. Belly-to-back suplex. Are we gonna see it? (crowd cheering) Are we gonna see it? Are we gonna see it, baby? Looking for the Devil, oh, and Roxanne rolling out. (Roxanne screams) Smart. (crowd booing) So smart by Roxanne Perez. I heard she had a good coach. Hell of a teacher, hell of a teacher. All right, now trying to hold on, and, oh! There we go. Right to the eyes with the challenger.

Illegal tactics. She definitely learned that from you, Book. It goes back to what I was saying, Roxanne Perez is willing to do anything Ooh! to put this match up here tonight, man. Oh, yes! Oh, right down onto the injured arm. Oh, yes! (crowd booing) (Stephanie exclaims) Roxanne Perez has just taken control. Can Vaquer bounce back? (crowd booing) Don't miss a second of the action in our picture-in-picture break. (Booker T laughing) (crowd clapping rhythmically) NXT Women's Championship is on the line.

The matchup really changed when Roxanne Perez tried to hyperextend the left elbow of Stephanie Vaquer. And it's, again, important to note, the right hand is taped because Vaquer dislocated her right thumb, Saturday, at "Stand & Deliver." Booker, I know you can attest to this. Sometimes if you're trying to protect an injury inside the ring, Ooh! you actually leave yourself more susceptible to other attacks. It's like a bullseye, man. Where are you going? Right now, Roxanne Perez has laser beam on that shoulder, right there on that arm, and she's gonna go out here.

Whoa! Oh, wait a minute. Vaquer able to counter. For a moment, you talk about laser beam, Roxanne Perez has been laser-focused on winning back the NXT Women's Championship. But look at that combination from the champion to the challenger. Thunderous headbutt by the champion. Look at that! (crowd exclaiming) Great kick from the outside-in. And now Vaquer. Six! To the outside! Whoa! You gotta be kidding me. (crowd exclaiming) Yeah! Wow! Fontainebleau Theatre coming alive Wow! here in Las Vegas. (crowd cheering and applauding) Fighting through the pain right there, throwing all caution to the wind.

Beautiful. As we see the feint kick right on point, and then Vaquer with a springboard crossbody out onto the entrance ramp. (crowd exclaiming) Well, back to the action of the ring. Another high crossbody hit by Vaquer, and we eat the feet, right to Perez. Perez right now bouncing back into the corner. As you would say, Graves, target acquired. Meteora running knees! (crowd exclaiming) And the champion somehow has found yet another gear- Oh. Who's she pointing at?

She just pointed at Booker. Here we go. Oh, yeah. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (Booker T exclaiming) 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! (Booker T exclaiming) Yeah. (crowd cheering) (Corey laughing) Stephanie. Stephanie right now, it's been a long week. Into the cover. It's been a long week. One, two! Not as much torque. And a hook, yeah, I know we're in Vegas, but- Not as much torque, but I tell you, it was still good bad.

What a flip-flopper you are, all of a sudden, now you're rooting for Stephanie Vaquer instead of Roxanne Perez. What are you talking about? What do you mean, what I'm talking about? About bias. I've been biased here. Since when? One more time! This is the match. This is a championship match. One more time! What are you talking about? One more time! Wait a minute, One more time! one more time?

Did they say one more time? I don't think your heart can handle it. Uh-oh, wait a minute. Looking for the SVB, though. Roxanne able to counter right out in this, Roxanne does so well. "The Prodigy" trying to get the champion down. Oh! Wait. Beautiful switch right there by Stephanie. Another near, oh, man! (boot smacks) Superkick to the ear. Right on the back.

Looked like Perez was potentially looking to take down Vaquer for a crossface. Looking to plant Roxanne, Roxanne trying to counter (Roxanne exclaims) almost out of the wheelbarrow, Wow! but still being able to- Oh! and did get a backbreaker. Got enough of it, though. This is my idea. You can crack a rib very easily that way. You gotta give credit too to Stephanie Vaquer for even to hold Roxanne Perez in that, but, whoa, she's going to the top again? An injured hand, an arm that's been attacked throughout the match. Kudos are due to the NXT Women's Champion. But credit to Roxanne for hanging in there! (crowd exclaiming) Back to the arm, and that time, it wasn't the left arm, it was the right injured thumb,

the right injured wrist. (Roxanne exclaims) And Perez coming in. Oh, baby. There it is! Right into a submission. Uh-oh! Crossface! That's it. This could be it. Here she sinks it and it is in deep. It's locked in. Vaquer's in trouble. Nowhere for Vaquer to go. Can Vaquer make it out, or is she gonna tap? Are we gonna crown a new NXT Women's Champion? If we do, it's Perez's third reign, which would be historic. Vaquer sees the bottom rope.

She's trying to get to the bottom. She's trying to reach out. She's trying to fight, and fight she does, but Roxanne Perez pushes it back into the middle. That fight IQ I was talking about right there. Roxanne Perez in prime position to make history again. Vaquer able to slip her hips out. Whoa! Kickout. Nice counter. Rolling right back in. Roxanne coming back out into another cover as Vaquer, crucifix style this time. One, two! Another kickout, flopping back onto Perez, the champion Whoa! and the challenger once again That was close. was able to get out.

(crowd cheering and applauding) It was close. What a match. It's for the NXT Women's Championship. (Roxanne exclaims) Blocked, countered by Vaquer. Perez hesitated for a fraction of a second, and the "Dark Angel" made the challenger pay, up and over- Looking for Pop Rox. Oh, baby. Looking for Pop Rox. And somehow countered again by Stephanie Vaquer. (Roxanne exclaims) And Vaquer back up. I don't know if she just hit the top turnbuckle, but Vaquer taking some time.

(commentators and crowd exclaiming) Executing a gnarly Dragon Screw. Once upon a time, Roxanne had an ACL and an MCL. And now it's SVB connects. (crowd exclaiming) One, two, Cover. three! And Stephanie Vaquer (bell rings) stands tall Wow. once more. (intense music) (crowd cheering) Here is your winner, and still the NXT Women's Champion, Stephanie Vaquer! (crowd cheering) What a fight. What a main event. (intense music)
