I think the essence of H2F comes down to our ability to get the soldier to be able to maximize and leverage their full potential or their cognitive capacity matched with their physical capability. Here at the infantry school, it's it's all about building a foundation, right? Uh what does right look like? It's rigorous PT every single morning. It's deliberate. It's part of the POI. It is a lesson plan, right? Where we're incorporating one uh how do we make citizens or cadetses transform them into officers and infantry soldiers uh and make them meet standards that our army requires us to do. That's what we're doing here uh at the schoolhouse is how do you build that
culture? How do you start them with the fundamentals, the right approach uh in order for them to filter out into the operating force and throughout our army in order to continue that culture as it goes through. It's extremely important on the modern battlefield because it's it's incumbent upon every leader to ensure that our soldiers are trained to fight, survive, and win in the hardest day of combat. In the hardest day of combat, you're tired, your body hurts, but yet we're we're being asked to defend freedom. Right? And freedom only, you know, Ronald Reagan said it, freedom only comes once to every generation, right? And what we have to be able to do
is ensure that our soldiers could fight for freedom. Recall the tasks to a master level uh in order to win on the battlefield. The soldiers are pacing item, right? It's not a piece of equipment, you know, we equip our pacing item. And that's the strategic advantage we have and that's the importance behind the holistic approach to H2F. Making sure we can maximize that cognitive capacity aligned with our physical capability. It's important for us to start early. inculcate that culture early so that when these lieutenants and these NCOs's become senior leaders in our
army, they understand the importance of
