I'm not looking for a fight, but Iran also cannot be allowed to block innocent countries and their goods from an international waterway. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth there calling out Iran for blocking ships from crossing the Strait of Hormuz. It comes as the ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran appears to have endured its biggest test yet. Well, that's because yesterday for the first time since the temporary truce went into effect, Iran launched a significant attack on a Gulf state. Soon afterward, the Pentagon announced two US Navy warships crossed the Strait into the Persian Gulf. The

operation is called Project Freedom and it is meant to help guide the commercial vessels through the Strait safely. In doing so, the US says it took out six Iranian small boats plus cruise missiles and drones that Pentagon officials say were threatening commercial shipping, which Iran denies. We have a navy that's unbelievable. In a way, we set up a blockade, as you know very well, not one ship. Couple of tried and they got their engine shut down. Today, the speaker of Iran's parliament reiterated the regime's position that it is prepared for a long conflict adding the US, in his words, finds the status quo is intolerable.
