An Israeli strike on a police station in northern Gaza killed a 100 killed a 15year-old boy while wounding several other police officers. Now the victim has been identified as Mahmud Sabel, a teenager who was reportedly selling bread near the station. When the strike occurred, his family gathered at Alshifa hospital mourning his loss. Relatives described him as the sole provider for his siblings when the strike hit. Hamas confirmed that police officers were also wounded in the attack. He sells bread to feed his siblings. He has 15 family members to feed. He goes to sell bread so he can feed his siblings. Nobody feels for us. If we go hungry, if we die, if we are killed, nobody feels. What did this child do to
deserve being hit while selling bread? Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos with people running for cover and the wounded being rushed to the hospital. We suddenly heard a blast. I ran outside and found the police station had been hit. I looked and saw people lying on the ground wounded. I started moving wounded people and putting them in the car. We came here to Alshifa hospital with a martyr. When will the war stop? When will the strikes on us stop? When will the injustice end? Will all of this continue to happen to us?
