Once a year, magicians from all over the globe travel to the Blackpool Magic Convention. That's right. Over 10,000 of the world's best magicians flock together to talk magic, buy magic, and watch live magic. However, since there will be thousands of the world's best magicians in one place, my goal is to see as much magic as possible, all in the hopes of finding the world's best magic trick. So, my plan is simple. Step one, travel to Blackpool, England, where the world's largest magic convention takes place. Step two, enter the Blackpool Magic Convention and witness the greatest magic tricks in the world. And step three, award whichever magician wins a trophy of grand prestige.

All right, my friends. I have just arrived at the Blackpool Magic Convention just moments after receiving my entry pass. And as soon as you step foot through the doors, it feels like you've entered a completely different world because every single person inside of this room are magicians. And quite honestly, I'm not sure if that's a cool thing or an extremely dodgy thing. I'm not sure. Right now, I'm making my way to the main hall where all the magicians reside. And remember, my goal is to find the world's greatest magic trick. It won't be this one. No pressure. Now, pack of cards. All the cards are different. Every magician does slightly to prove I'm not doing slight panic. Put

one hand in my pocket. That way I can't do anything. Right. Just say stop. Have a look at that card for me. Got it. Okay. Now watch. I don't do anything. I just give the cards a shake. I'm going to spread them on the mat. Ready? My hand stays in my pocket. Hopefully now one card has disappeared. What was your card? No way. Seven of clubs. Slight pad. But check this out. What just happened with this one? What the heck? So what I'm going to do on this side, we're going to write black. Placing black ink. You don't look too impressed. on this side.

Red. Wait, that is so bizarre. All right, so this is the craziest thing I've ever seen at Magic Convention. We have a magic vending machine. All right, friends. That's two tricks down, but I've got a feeling they're about to get even crazier. How? Magic. Can you give me like one word that you'd say epitomizes Blackpool? Dan Rose. Dad Rose. Two words. Dam it. Oh [__] You have one job. Shut. [__] That's two words again. Well, I'm learning a lot so far at this convention. main one being that magicians can't count. But what none of the magicians in the convention realize

is that they're all competing with one another. Because remember, I'm looking for the world's best magic trick. And at the end of the video, whoever I believe deserves this title will win this prestigious award. But before [clears throat] that, we've got to see more magic, of course. Right down. And this is digital materialization. see straight through these Cadillac holes here. And I'm going to put this on top. And it's the most incredible technological 3D printer cuz it actually prints a digital device inside. You can see the technology starting to form until it actually prints your real damn mobile phone. And this is a genuine mobile phone. This is all real.

I keep getting tricked at this convention. That was unbelievable. World's greatest magic trick, please. No pressure. Now, we've got a prediction here. And on the back of this is all prediction. In the time since, I left the convention, had some delicious food, and smashed a coffee. Great lecture it was. But don't you be forgetting that I have a job to do because whoever I think has the world's best magic trick, as you know, is going to win this trophy in the

morning. But until then, more magic, please. And this is how magicians print playing cards. You take a whole load of them, you can actually start to do cards to them. So, all I do is give it a shake. You can actually get one card to print itself. There you go. And of course, that's just one side, just the back, not the front. If you want the front to print, you give it a shake. You can get a joker to appear. Check this out. Now again, that's only one side, not the back. You can take them, place them face to face, give them a little flex, and now watch this. The card somehow transfers over and it's now a mirror image of it. How cool is that?

Now, we should be able to grab the Joker and stretch the ink. Look at that. You can actually make it smudge. It looks wicked, doesn't it? And but you got to give it a second cuz the ink does go on your finger, so you want to be careful that I left my mask on there. Please show me something. Can you check the cards? Yes, they seem normal as far as cards go. Not very good, right? No, not box. Check the box. Okay. Normal box. Show put them inside. Yes. Okay. Do this. You want to close it? Uh, sure. To close it.

Okay. The box is closed. You can leave it on the table. Whatever you like. Are you feeling with my empower today? Okay. You know torch hammer? Yes. Okay. After seeing our last pieces of magic, later that night they had a gala show which I attended and honestly it was really good. Afterwards it was time for more delicious food and yeah, I devoured it. Now, it was time to

make my way to the Ruskin Hotel where all the magicians hang out after the convention. And if you're wondering where the magicians are, there they are. Now, least to say, this place gets rowdy after 10:00. It does because thousands of magicians from all over the world hang out in this small hotel late into the hours of the morning. It's coming. Oh. Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to put that there. This guy must think he's David Blaine. Actually, where on earth is David Bla?

I guess you can say we are best friends now. coming here ever since I was a little boy, and every single year, I never fail to have an amazing time. And it always blows my mind how cohesive this community of magicians are. It's crazy to think that magic tricks can bring people from all over the world together. Most importantly, it's so amazing to see young magicians at these conventions because at the end of the day, these kids will be the future of magic.
