an exceptionally complicated tape deck first thing we're going to do is shoot the insert for the cold open for the 12 30 show with Will Ferrell and Harry Styles we're going to shoot it so quick it's going to blow your mind and then in the second segment with the late night host sketch and in segment three we're going to welcome our guests Harry will walk up first we'll walk out with a sledgehammer so this is the desk and then we'll set up that uh can we just do spill you guys one more time and then in segment five uh James will have some remarks from the desk and then we come back we'll reset for the song before I open up for any questions I just say that uh I'm so grateful that I

sleep like I have timelines that are in my dreams it'll feel different because we're going to come off of the cold open yes you'll already be standing there yes thank you all right here we go how are you've done some incredible things here at The Late Show you've dangled from a zip line across Beverly Boulevard you have the words late tattooed on your arm which of these do you most regret saying yes to yeah maybe we should open it up so what is your favorite memory what is your favorite okay if he comes with a story gives them something more to work with rather than saying like I regretted doing the crossword now you've both been so generous to Usher over the years I'm eternally grateful there are no two

people I want I ever do this and that being said we are also yeah grateful I just thank you so much I really do I thank you for everything the whole team the researchers that every single bit of it was the thing I was most nervous about when I started the show whether I'd be able to do it and uh you really saw me through all of it and now I just I don't know you should feel defense parade in what we've done here I love you all very much get in here Zabo get in here I love you so much okay um this is it gang the final Late Show in the history of CBS but this is the one we're gonna finally get it right this time we aren't determined to get it right this time we are thank you so that's real voice on the back yeah
