Ladies and gentlemen, GIVE IT UP FOR MY GOOD FRIEND JAMES CORDON. COME ON OUT, JAMES. OH, HEY. I'm doing good, man. I'm doing good. You know, I sit next to you and I'm wonder who was the football player? First thing come to mind. But James, I want to say welcome to the Fox family. Thank you very much. Um, you know, I love you for a long time. You've been a good friend for a long time and I'm so excited because you're going to be hosting a show for Fox's World Cup coverage, my friend. So, what can you tell us about? Well, the show is called uh the FIFA World Cup 2026 After Hours on Fox with James Cordon, which we can all agree rolls off the tongue. And uh no, we'll be doing a show. We'll be doing a show

every night live after the games throughout the World Cup. It's going to be me uh former England uh football soccer, sorry. No football, man. Football. This is football. This is World Cup. Forget that soccer word here in this country. We're going to respect the game. It's football. I wish. And I love that. I love that you're saying that. I know for a fact that our bosses are very adamant that I call it soccer. So, you know, I'm with you. But uh it's going to be me um former England soccer captain Rio Ferdinand uh one of my

favorite comedians on planet Earth, Ian Carmel. And every night after the games, we're going to be trying to have a light-hearted look at the World Cup, talking about the games, talking about anything that may have happened that day. And what we're going to try and do is make it feel like if you couldn't meet up with your friends in a bar that night, we'll be there to have some fun. Yeah, you're the bar. But you know, you know what the good thing is, man? You really are a soccer fan. So I want everybody out here to you please tell them how much you love soccer.

Well, I love it so much that this is my foosball player here is in the colors of my team which is West Ham United who suffered a disastrous day of football yesterday. Um are you whooping for the disaster madam or I was wondering the same thing. Are you an Arsenal fan? Is that why you're whooping? Okay, you're going to have to leave now. I don't care how much your company spends on Fox. I can't be around you at the moment. Uh, no. So, I mean, look, soccer is a massive part of my life. And, uh, it was kind of amazing in the in the 8 and a half years that I lived in Los Angeles, I would go and watch Galaxy games uh with Zlatan actually when he was playing and then I saw the rise of LAFC. Yep. And it really feels like now is an

incredible time for North America to be hosting this tournament and we're going to really try and have some fun. But why Fox? Why do you want to do this on Fox? Cuz they've got the rights to the games. So I got I can't stress this enough. If they didn't have the rights to the games, I'd do this show on the network that did. So, and I feel like your agreement with them is very similar. It would be weird for you to come out talking about football on a Sunday going, "It's on over there." Well, you know, that's that's why I'm a few years on my deal.

I'm not messing that up, James. So, I'll leave that to you. Okay. Mine's six weeks. It's fine. Yeah. But we're we're happy you're back, man. Looking forward to this show.
