actually this is not just the very last pocket now daily but also my last video on pocket now though more on that after the question of the day I debated hard as to what my last video should look like and I think the best way to do it is to go out the oldfashioned way new reports have apple already gearing up for its M5 chips but not in the way we were expecting there's enough of a premise to make the iPhone 17 Pro look like something you should wait for sort of and at Le hands on video of the Galaxy s25 Ultra already proves that Samsung is heading in the right direction I'm he Riva and I know why a video on a Sunday oh man do I have a lot to update you guys on this is Ping out
daily let's begin today with no official news since hey we have a saying in Latin America that not even chickens lay eggs on Sunday let's start with Google as it seems the company's next pixel phone might actually get AI right there's already talks on leaked documents of a pixel 11 but seriously let's just stick to the pixel 10 for now as uh we hear of a possible earlier launch tensor G5 is already being mentioned and reportedly brings video generative ml machine learning for AI driven video and photo editing sketch the image is a feature that might be able to improve my terrible drawings through AI heck we even hear of a speak to tweak for making quick adjustments via voice commands there's even a rumored magic mirror
feature that's uh still mysterious the tensor G5 is reportedly also running Advanced tools like stable diffusion locally potentially powering new creative options in the pixel Studio application though yeah Snapdragon has been able to do this for like two generations in terms of video capabilities the pixel X is rumored to support 4K HDR recording at 60 frames per second a notable improvement over the pixel 9 which uh yeah it's stuck at 30 FPS for HDR way behind everybody else these advancements also suggest that Google is doubling down on AI and performance but uh yeah a bit late now let's switch to Apple as uh we hear the company is working on its next Generation M5 chip according to a report the company has uh placed orders with
tsmc but not the ones we thought apparently the M5 will be using an advanced 3 nanometer node which still makes it more powerful than M4 but yeah why not 2 nanometer which tsmc already launched apparently Apple chose this 3 NM process because it cost less but also because it's Manu facturing is built on a new 3D stacking technology called a system on integrated chip s soic which helps manage heat better and prevents energy loss compared to older designs Apple and tsmc are also using new material like carbon fiber composits to make the chip uh package stronger and more efficient the M5 chip could also begin production in late 2025 and devices with the new chip might launch
by the end of 2025 or early 2026 so yeah don't expect it to make the MacBook Air or IP iPad Pros in the spring now let's continue with apple as there's more information on the iPhone 17 air aside from the deep dive that we already did we've already heard this could be the thinnest iPhone ever but now we hear specifics like 5 to 6 mm and thickness down from 7.8 on the iPhone 16 to achieve it you bet the features have to be removed the iPhone 17 air won't have a SIM card tray regardless of your region there are also changes to the bottom speaker you'll lose an ultra wide and telephoto camera and you'll also lose support for the fastest 5G which yeah nobody cared about just yet it will
have a smaller battery though we are still not sure how that'll affect endurance so yeah imagine an iPhone with just one camera which will be larger and placed in the center of the back giving it a unique approach compared to every other iPhone it's expected to launch in September 2025 along with the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro but there won't be an iPhone 17 plus now the changes the pro model also seemed controversial apparently apple is ditching titanium over aluminum which could sound like a step back but seriously like aluminum is durable and lighter that said we also hear of the camera hump getting larger yet again like seriously if you thought that it was already out of control think again
and finally for the hottest news of the day let's talk about the Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra cuz yeah we already have a leaked Hands-On video it recently serviced on Reddit and yeah it does point to changes in this lineup's design just as uh we've heard from separate sources the chip initially labeled s24 Ultra definitely was confirmed by reliable tipster ice Universe to actually be a Showcase of the s25 ultra the phone has a flat design with slightly rounded Corners making it far more ergonomic than the sharp approach we currently have seriously the s24 ultra just yells for a case well this is more of a resemblance to the Galaxy Note 3 which remains one of my favorite designs of all time its power button and
volume rocker are located on the right side while the rear cameras follow on Samsung's you usual layout since the official launch is still over a month away it's unclear whether this is the final version or just the Prototype we'll need more confirmation to be certain about the flagships design but in today's question let us know I mean do you like this possible new Galaxy s25 Ultra design cuz in my case if I'm honest I love it but that's just me leave us a comment down below we love to know your opinion friends again I wish I could tell you to like And subscribe but uh yeah this is my last video for pocket now and it's crazy I've struggled to even figure out how to properly thank you all for this crazy ride that I've
been in for the last in my K 17 years up until last month but pocket now was so much bigger pocket now started as a website and a forum and it's crazy that 17 years ago I wrote my first article it was a review and eventually YouTube became a thing and so Brandon miniman was video number one and I was video number two and uh we just thought of this crazy way of how can we add value like the pocket now way was always how can we add value to our readers at the time and then eventually our viewers and it's probably the reason why it lasted so long because we always approach content with the purpose of is it useful to you are you going to care about it or not Way Beyond the novelty that it could
bring to you which you're going to pay for and that'll just become a gimmick and uh yeah so many amazing people joined after you got to see Michael fiser I then joined full-time in 2011 and then we decided to turn the channel into something more than just a tool of the website and then it grew to this which we would have never dreamed about this like for us we were just kids having fun we never thought about it as a business even if then it became one and uh yeah we pivoted the channel in so many ways because pocket was actually for the pocket PC operating system rip then Windows mobile rip as well uh then it morphed into Android iOS and so many ways in which the mobile market evolved
and now we've got Mobility taking over so many things and uh it's actually one of the major reasons why I think it's time to end this chapter and start something different and uh for a little context I actually tried to bring pocket now with me along the ride but uh sadly I couldn't make that last call I don't necessarily know what's going to happen to this channel I don't know what the owners are going to do I've made a couple of recommendations there's so many talented people out there that could take over and I am really rooting for somebody to do so cuz this project was a labor of love for many of us and I tried to keep it alive as long as I could but where I'm going and where
I want to go is a completely different Spectrum still within this realm but different ly uh to give you an idea I've had this uh crazy project in my head for the last 2 and 1 half years and I've actually been working on it actively for the last 6 months it is a major project it is bigger than anything that I've ever done and yeah I spent a lot of time being scared trying to figure out how to get it off the ground because it's not easy to give you a little context five people are going to join that project because it's just so big that there's no way that I can do it on my own and I love this idea of bringing some of my friends along not sure if you ever met Sam who used to write at pocket now he's
coming uh a god of the who's editing this video is also joining and then we've got two other people and then my brother Joshua regar is also going to join one of these projects and that to me is like oh my God like you know I tell Josh and I tell Michael fiser if I didn't do this for a living I would probably be watching them on YouTube as their biggest fan so the fact that I've been doing this for so many years has been just surreal to me to be honest with you I never imagined myself doing this and yet here I am and you know it was great to be able to you know be a part of and then lead one of my favorite brands at the time which was pocket now and yeah I got to see so many other
brands not continue I again wanted to figure out a way to bring pocket now into this next chapter but uh yeah no this is a completely different thing um it's it's something that I am so excited to show you but I can't just yet because it takes time to build it up actually it launches in January it's actually three different things in January we're launching two um then the other project will launch around June as that takes that's going to require even more help um I'm super excited about these things but then again I'm also scared I'm going to be honest because yeah we all have impostor syndrome it's funny I've made at least three or 4,000 videos already and every single time I hit record I
still feel nervous it's crazy this feeling and then you just snap in and are able to do it which is amazing and it's why I encourage everyone to give it a try because it's amazing to be able to be given a voice and to be able to use it's probably one of the best feelings and opportunities in the world that the internet has allowed us that we couldn't even have dreamed of it if elements like YouTube or Instagram or other new mediums were never built like think about how beautiful things have become and how many of us have had an opportunity for pocket now I can only say thank you to all of you for watching for so many years thank you for all the brands who partnered with us
and you know became really close to us and gave us a chance at a time when you know we were nobody's and to be able to grow this into something is has been such a dream and yeah thank you all this has been great I'm really excited for what's new I would really love it and appreciate it if you can join us there um I'm going to leave a link to the channel at the end that's again one of three channels but again two are launching in January uh and uh I'll give you more of where we're going there again the official launches in January but before that you're going to see more of these kinds of videos which will be populating the channel as the major project is actually so big that I doubt I can make more than one of
those videos a month it is a crazy Ensemble of different layers and we're still building that out but I can't wait to tell you more about it and I'm really hoping that you honor me with your you know your comments like all the feedback that you gave us in Pocket now built this channel to what it became and you can bet that all your feedback is going to be a part of that project as well I'm really looking forward to seeing you there I'm ha rera thanks so much for
