Pete Hegseth Testifies on Military Reforms and Iran Strategy

Right. So Pete Hexith testified for the first time since Operation Epic Fury began where he dropped even more bombs there, including one on John Garamendi, who just hours earlier called it a quagmire. Secretary Hexith, have you been lying? Secretary Hessith, you have been lying to the American public about this war from day one, and so has the president. You have misled the public about why we are at war. When I said reckless, feckless, and defeist of congressional Democrats at the beginning, uh, that came after watching you say the same thing on CNN this morning, a quagmire.

My generation served in a quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan, years and years of nebulous missions and utopian nation building that led us to nothing. The way you stain the troops when you tell them two months in, two months in, Congressman, you should know better. Shame on you. Nice. All right. It's weird though. You know, Pete really hates the word quagmire. No wonder he got so upset when I told him it was my safe word. But two months in the previous administration, that's how long it took Biden to walk across the rose garden. And in that time, do you know what the troops have undertaken? What they've succeeded?

What they've undertaken? What they've succeeded? the success on the battlefield that could create strategic opportunities, the courage of a president to confront a nuclear Iran and you call it a quagmire. Handing propaganda to our enemies, shame on you for that statement. Don't say I support the troops on one hand and then a two-month mission is a quagmire. That's a false equivalation. Who you cheering for here? And you sit there and go on TV for your clickbait about quagmires. It undermines the mission. Your hatred for President Trump blindsides blinds you to the truth of the success of this mission.

YEAH. SO, who are you cheering for, Congressman? We've erased Iran's military leaders and new capabilities quicker than it takes Kamla to polish off a six-pack. We blockaded this straight of Hormuz which Trump says is choking Iran like a stuffed pig which shows that even after all these years he still thinks of Rosie O'Donnell. But Dems have a filter which turns every success into hatred for Trump. In fact, they're now asking questions that were once off limits when sloppy Joe was snailing his way around the Oval Office. Do you believe that the president is mentally stable enough?

Do you believe that the president is mentally stable enough to be the commander-in-chief? Um, did you ask the same question of Joe Biden for four years? Mr. Secretary, Biden is not the president, most insightful commander-in-chief we've had in generations. And you want to compare, I mean, you want to ask that question after you and your fellow Democrats defended Joe Biden, who could barely speak and didn't know what day of the week it was. He governed through an auto pen. He had a secretary of defense who went awall for a week.

He's not wrong. Under Biden, our military became the shell of the force that wiped out the Axis powers and knocked out terrorists. And what happened? The backbone of global security lost its spine. The Pentagon promoted pronouns, pride events, and equity over lethal force, combat readiness, and putting fear into our enemies. Troops were lectured on bias, and standards were lowered to meet diversity goals. Thanks to our DEI dogma, our troops couldn't fight any battle that required storming two flights of stairs. They wanted to let in recruits who thought the battle of the bulge meant they get free ompic. The result, the army missed recruiting goals year after year. The worst recruitment crisis in decades. It got so

bad they were selling surplus camouflage to the view in the hopes it made them harder to see. But I wonder if any of that's changed. Pete, is there anyone I should talk to? Talk to colonels and majors and staff sergeants and two star generals and you ask them about the environment of our military right now and its capabilities right now compared to under the Biden administration under Obama. They will tell you it is night and day. And because this war department allows them to get back to basics, no more distractions, no more debris. It's simple accountability, training, standards, lethality, and they respond to it.

Low standards never inspired anyone. Just ask the entire staff of Jesse Waters Prime Time. So, none of this should come as a surprise to Democrats because before Pete ever got this job, he told you everything he was going to do. He wrote an entire book about it. In fact, he described his plan on America's premier brain trust for elite military strategy this very show. Take the vaccine mandate, take genderism, DEI, CRT, whatever it is. There's a new phrase called patriot extremism, which you learn about in the book, that the military is using to try to filter out normal, strong men from the ranks of the military. Meritocracy

is dropping, standards are dropping, lethality is dropping, and it's social justice, politically correct nonsense. We've got one military. We either keep it and keep it lethal or we don't have the ability to defend ourselves. Yep. But since the old regime taught the army to hate America, it made sense to them to make sure that they sucked at fighting. But Pete laid out his vision. Rid the military of DEI, get back to lethality, bring back real physical combat standards, and stop apologizing for them. No more quotas or lectures about white privilege. Just discipline, merit, strength. Because the job is to

win wars abroad whenever necessary, not culture wars at home. But the real truth, and I say this as one who knows, Pete is the same exact person he was before he took the job, which makes him so terrifying to these bozos. But to your point about Pete, he has remained the same and consistent in what he has pursued and what he has believed to be the problems. And even with all this footage, all of this tape of Pete, they still couldn't prepare to land a single blow on him. And instead, they got taken to task by the Secretary

of the Department of War during active combat and his entire ethos there was defense of the troops in the country. I find it very hard to be a Democrat who thought that they succeeded in doing anything to undermine the Department of War today. H you know. All right. Yeah. Okay. You can do it. Joe, you were actually in charge of the department of warts. Yes. It was a typo. Yeah, it was a typo. Uh did you know uh Pete when have you done the shows with him? Yeah. And it was very interesting when people from here started to move into the administration, you know, Pete and Shawn Duffy and Judge Janine. And when it happened, my mother called me and said, "Maybe they'll have something for you."

You know, 25 years is a comic. Maybe the Pentagon has a has an opening for me. But Pete, I love And also even just you got to admit the idea of grilling he grilled he sounds delicious. Yes. Where do you start? I know. He takes I don't know. You can really smell the mosquite when he takes a shirt off. But he made some excellent points that they really do have some nerve mentioning, you know, do you think Trump is competent? And he brings up Biden. You had a president who was getting vetoed by the Easter Bunny that didn't inspire a lot of confidence. So yeah, this stuff with Iran, I mean, it's very 80s. Yeah. You know, I'm I'm waiting for them to deploy some

parachute pants and some break dancers to take care of it. But to say this is a quagmire, we've we've eliminated their leadership. We've destroyed their navy. The guy who's in charge now, this mulla, um, we've burned his face and we've let the world know he's gay and impotent. That doesn't sound like Iran is winning. No, that's got to suck. Like I said, he's got to change his grinder uh picture. Doesn't look at all like that anymore. Cat, you were saying in the green room that it would have been much better if Pete was doing all of this shirtless.

No, no, no. You were saying that. Yeah, you were agreeing with me. Look, you've known him for ages. You know what? I really have. And I got to say, I've had a crazy couple years. But I don't think that we should forget about the fact that among those years is that the dude that I like met in the green room here like killed the Ayatollah. Yeah. Now, but that makes the list. Yes. That absolutely makes the list. Yeah. It's funny because we knew the guy We know the guy who killed Osama bin Laden. Yes. Yeah, we know a lot of killers.

Yes, we do. Look, look, I think it's important to note that just because you have concerns about a war doesn't mean that you're against the troops or against the country. Um, it's also true that, you know, the military has to be the best at killing. Yeah. And that's the only job that's like that, by the way. So, you actually have to like not kill at your other jobs. Yes. So, if you're not the best at killing, that's great news. Yeah. You have a whole world of opportunities for you. The rest of all the rest of the jobs, boy, you're a great fit.

Yes. But it's if you're going to be a combat veteran, you got to be the best at killing. Yeah. There's one job that's like that. Yeah. We don't care like who you bone and you know what your pronoun is. Can you slit that guy's throat? Right, Tyrus? Yeah, I'm with you. Yeah. Um my only you know Pete uh him and I we got a lot of time together. We uh we even took weird pictures one time when we were they I don't know why we were doing a photo shoot like you guys get together you look like you kill

people. They were half right. Um but um the only thing I disagree with him when he was fighting back was he said who are you cheering for? And I think the question should have been who are you speaking for? Who are they? Who is telling coming up with these ideas? Why is America's success so enraging to other Americans that were elected to support our troops? That's what blows my mind. U the fact that they clearly did not know whom they were going after because they're not qualified to do what they do. Yeah. So when they went at him, they didn't realize that this guy was born in this, molded by it from the time he was his life.

He wanted to be a soldier. He was a Yeah. He came back. He went through hard times. He found redemption. He's got a strong family. He's got a great wife. And now he's in a position to where he is protecting the men who walk the same trails he did. Mhm. So for them to say anything to him, they are vastly unqualified, uneducated, and not charming at all. Yeah. AMEN.
