I wish motherhood looked like this, but most of the time it looks like this. But truthfully, my mornings have been a little less hectic since I've started meal prepping. This is why I'll show you how to turn this into these. Let's talk ingredients. These are the items that are in my fridge pretty much every single week. So, for the protein, we've got some ground beef, and some chicken. And now for the veggies, we've got broccoli, spinach, carrots, green onions, an onion, and garlic. For dairy, we've got milk, eggs, and ultra thin cheese. For carbs, I've got rice, oats, pasta, and bread. And then for fruit, we've got watermelon, bananas, and some berries. Now, we have to stock up on our dried goods. Luckily,

my Thrive Market package arrived. Huge thank you to Thrive Market for sponsoring this video. Nothing makes me happier than seeing this box delivered straight to my door. So, first we've got the Gimme Seaweed packs. We got the olive oil flavor because it's very neutral. This is a flavor that he really enjoys. Next, we've got some pitted dates. These are delicious by itself, but I mostly use them as like a natural sweetener to dishes, which you will see in this video. It's actually incredible that

they are able to freeze dry anything at this point. These are just great to throw in the lunch box if you want something a little bit sweet but healthy. And then finally, we have my favorite snack, which is the Simple Mills almond flour cheddar crackers. These are fantastic. Great texture, exceptionally cheesy, and clean ingredients. So, the trick here is to prep everything a day before. For me, that's usually Sunday, and honestly, it's kind of a pain in the ass to do at the time, but I promise you, you will never regret it. So, I'm going to start cooking some rice. So, I'm using a mix of brown and white rice. And I'm going to wash this until everything is clear. I'm going to do 3 and 1/2 cups of water.

Now, I'm going to prep my spinach waffles. In a blender, I'm going to add two bananas, two eggs, two cups of oats, half a cup of milk, three dates, baking powder. We're going to stuff as much spinach in here as possible. All right, let's blend this. Boil the pan. Perfect. Last waffle and we're done. If you've got time, you might as well boil your pasta beforehand because it ends up saving you 15 minutes in the morning. Ta. Now, this step is non-negotiable. Prepping protein. Chicken is a mainstay in this house. And I keep the seasoning very simple. Fry it for six minutes each side and call it a day. On that same pan, I'm cooking my ground beef. I don't know if this is controversial, but it tastes the same

and I don't need to wash an extra pan. We eat the majority of our meals at home, and I think it's because most of this food is just ready. And by the time we're hungry, I just need to heat it up and assemble it. Let's tackle the fruit. Cubed watermelon that's ice cold is our kryptonite. We love munching on these. And when they're already cut up, it makes it a no-brainer to pop in those lunch boxes. Boom. No need to get your fruit precut and just cut it yourself. Perfect. Same thing goes with the berries. Wash them and let them dry. If I ever think a meal is lacking nutrition, I'll just toss in my steamed broccoli. You will see that this is a vegetable that I end up throwing in everything. Just you watch.

Good morning. This is Monday's lunch. I used the spinach waffles and I decided to make my own homemade jam. I used that berry mix, spread it on the spinach waffle, and on the other side I put some cream cheese. For some protein, I added a boiled egg. for some crunch, the Simple Mills cheese crackers. And then lastly, a Siggies yogurt pack. There's Monday's lunch. So, for today's lunch, I am using the broccoli and the ground beef. Luckily, everything's cooked, so I just need to

microwave a little bit of it. And of course, I got to throw it in my manual food processor. This thing is a godsend. It's the only way my son will eat veggies and even beef. So now I'm going to add it to some rice that we already prepared. And I'm just going to mix it all together. I'm going to throw in some sesame oil and a little bit of furake. You can also add some soy sauce if your kid likes flavor, but my son doesn't. He likes things super bland. Makes my job a lot easier. So now I'm just going to roll these into little balls. My gut wants to call this buggi balls, but I know that's a little bit of a stretch. And then throw in a gimme seaweed pack.

There is our lunch for today. For lunch today, I'm going to be making a pasta. So, I'm going to use broccoli and chicken first. throw it in the processor, mash it, and then I'm going to heat up a pan, pop some butter on there, melt it, warm everything together, and then I'm going to add the cold pasta. And if the pasta is looking a little bit hard, throw an egg in. I find that the egg just moistens everything up and it adds 7 g of protein. Pretty neat, huh? So, I guess I

would call this like a veggie egg pasta. One side I'm adding cubed watermelon and the other side some dried fruit, pineapples and apples. I'm going to toss in some carrot sticks. These are a hit or miss. Sometimes he likes them, sometimes he doesn't. If he's still hungry, then he could just chew on that. And there we have it. Lunch. For lunch, I made a very quick chicken carrot fried rice. So simple. If the rice is a little bit dry, throw an egg in there. And then for seasoning, I got some of the gimme seaweed, crinkled some in, and I mixed it all together. For fruit, got some blackberries, dried mangoes, and then a mixed berries yogurt pouch. And that's it for lunch today.

It is a very gloomy Friday morning, but I still got to make lunch. This morning, I made an omelette sandwich. I guess that's what I'm going to call it. It's got chicken, broccoli, and an egg. It slowly fried it. And then I threw on an ultra thin slice of cheese on both sides. That way, the cheese is evenly distributed. I cut off the crusts. And since I had some extra omelette, I threw it inside the thermos. For some add-ons, I put in the cheese crackers and then filled the rest with some fresh berries and dried berries. And there we have it, our final lunch. All right, folks, that is a wrap on this video. Quick reminder that when you join Thrive Market today, you'll get 25% off back to school essentials. Plus, when
