So, if you like Bleu de Chanel, if you like Orto Parisi's Megamare, well, just imagine those fragrances coming together, having a love child, and then that [clears throat] love child is kidnapped by Dior Sauvage who injects it with compound V. The result would be Nobility by Spirit of Kings. So, when you look at the notes here, what we see are a lot of very unusual notes that aren't combined very often. You got plum, star anise, water notes, even a bit of rose. So, we're going to see sweetness, but we're also going to see great longevity. One of the things I love about this one is how strong that aquatic note is. And in fact, it dictates the main accord followed by the
sweetness, the powder, fruit, freshness, musk with a bit of woods. The result is a versatile blue fragrance that is incredibly potent. Guys, I'm talking two to three sprays are going to last you 20 to 24 hours. On some of the clothing that I sprayed this on, a week later, I was smelling it. A sweet aquatic, this is going to blow open the room. Do not overspray this. Don't wear this stuff on an airplane unless you like one close spray to the body. Yeah, that's about it. Probably a couple at least a few hours before the flight. But gents, if you heed those warnings, this fragrance is a pleasure to wear. Uplifting, bright, beautiful, and the bottle is absolutely amazing. Now, speaking of
aquatics, as many of you guys know, one of my favorite designer aquatics is simply Acqua di Gio Profondo. The oceanic notes very strong, it's got great longevity, but it is a bit generic. What if you want something deeper? What if you want something richer that still has a little bit that Acqua di Gio, maybe even the Profumo type of feel? Well, gentlemen, in that case, check out Xerjoff 40 Knots. Rich, creamy, spicy, yet bright and fresh. The notes on this fragrance relatively simple, woods, cedar, salt, seawater with green notes. But that combination, absolute elegance. The woods dominate and they give it a deep richness. This is a creamy woods, not a dry woods.
Those green notes last the entire life of the fragrance, which is pretty darn good. We're talking 8 plus hours easy. So, for me, this is one of those fragrances that just screams luxury. If you're familiar with Xerjoff and his fragrances, these are ones that just the notes, the ingredients, everything seems to be so well blended. And even when you think this fragrance may be too heavy to wear in extreme hot weather, I don't know, it could be challenged. This thing is absolutely beautiful and it's that creamy overall feeling with the aquatic accords that to me still make this a very wearable four-season fragrance that uh yeah, is pretty much a masterpiece.
Now, speaking of summer marine masterpieces, let's talk about Paco Rabanne's Invictus. The original fragrance launched in 2013 was an instant hit because it was fresh, it was sweet, it got compliments. Well, let's face it, that fragrance comes off as a bit synthetic, as perhaps a fragrance for teenagers. So, what's a grown man's version of Invictus? Well, gents, you need to check out A Gel from The Spirit of Dubai. So, one thing you're going to notice about the notes when it comes to any fragrance from The Spirit of Dubai is they don't mess around. These are really meticulously crafted, high-end fragrances that seem to have a pinch of everything. So, to make sense of this, let's look at the main accords. Right
here at the top, we see citrus, it's an aromatic, sweet, fruity, green with a bit of aquatic and fresh spice and a floral marine and bit of woods right there at the bottom. The result is a beautiful, masculine, summer, fruity scent that's refreshing, yet sensual. This thing is going to get you compliments, it's going to project. Yeah, if you want a complex, fruity, floral that pretty much has a touch of everything, this is the fragrance that you want to try. Yeah, this is definitely a huge step up from Invictus. They're not even in the same category, but you know, if you did like Invictus, you know, a decade ago, now you go try this thing, man. You Yeah, you are going to love this one. Next up, let's talk
about Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. One of his most polarizing fragrances. The first time I smelled this, I can remember I just loved it or I thought I did, and I oversprayed it. I pretty much got kicked out of a car. But seriously, it's a bit harsh, it's a bit too much for some people. So, if you're looking for a tobacco vanilla combination that actually is with a sweeter tobacco, guys, I want you to check out Tobacco Flirting with Vanilla. Now, this fragrance from the house of Micallef, for me, replaced Tobacco Vanille, which I always found a little bit harsh. I really wanted to love it. It was a fragrance that I latched to early on, but this one made it easy to move on.
Now, this niche fragrance right here from the house of Destan, this one is absolutely smooth, beautiful, understated, elegant. And when you look at the notes here, yeah, it's a soft, powdery, woody fragrance that is masculine, not overpowering, smooth, beautiful. It's got presence. When you get in close, people are going to pick up on it, but it's not the type of a fragrance that screams for attention. And gents, if you'd like to pick up this fragrance, well, go over to today's sponsor, Maxaroma. In case you don't know, Maxaroma is all about quality, niche fragrances at some of the best prices you're going to find out there. And you can get samples of all their fragrances, so you don't have to buy a
full bottle. Now, this fragrance right here, M. Micallef's Desired Toxic Intense. And I loved the original. This one is even better. It's stronger, deeper, and this one is freaking nuclear. One spray and uh yeah, that's all you need if you're going to be in a confined area. Well, I have to admit, in general, I don't like a strong cannabis note. I didn't really pick it up, but this is an aromatic, it feels like a blue fragrance. It's versatile, earthy, sexy, unique. You're not going to have anything like this in your collection. So, gents, if you're looking for a niche fragrance that's going to have you standing out from the crowd that smells freaking amazing, you can grab any [clears throat] of the fragrances I
talked about using the links in the description of today's video. Next up, we've got Dior Homme Intense. Now, for anyone that knows fragrances, they know that this one right here is incredibly versatile. You can dress it up, you can dress it down. It's not one of Dior's best sellers, but it is considered one of their best fragrances ever. As with the main accords being iris, woods, a bit of powder with earth and aromatic and violet, this floral musk, when you look at the notes, is simple in components, but is the perfect example of when the sum equal more than the parts. In fact, the only issue with this fragrance is some guys consider it a bit feminine, and it can be difficult to
find. Well, if you're looking for a niche alternative, consider Love Flame from the house of Destan. So, what you're going to find with this fragrance, very similar accords. You're going to have the powder, warm spice, woods, iris, and amber along with a bit of earthy musk. Now, what I love about Love Flame, it's got the same powdery iris as we find over in Dior Homme Intense, but it's a little bit sweeter, which makes it for me a little bit more masculine. I know a lot of guys are going to like this one. If you ever felt that Dior Intense just wasn't for you. I also found longevity on this one great, a solid 8 plus hours. Aventus needs no introduction. As many of you guys know, this is one of the most popular,
best-selling, considered by many people to be the king of fragrances due to its versatility, and just everyone seems to adore it. Everyone seems to love it. Except for the people that don't, because there are a couple notes a lot of people don't like, the pineapple. A lot of people feel it's way too sweet. And the other note people having an issue with, birch. Birch tar for some people, they just don't like the smell of it. So, if you've ever had an issue like, you know, this is close, but it's not good enough, I wish it was a little bit cleaner, guys, you want to check out City of Jasmine by Al Haramain Parfums.
Now, the big difference with this fragrance is it's going to be fresh, light, woody, bright with a bit of citrus. This one is absolutely beautiful if you want a cleaner version of Aventus. Now, another option if you like Creed is M. Micallef's Royal Vintage. Again, very similar to Creed Aventus, but instead of that pineapple note at the top, we are going to have an apple note at the top. And again, they got rid of the birch tar, and in this case, they substituted it with thyme and cypress. So, it made this fragrance a little bit more aromatic and gave it great longevity. We're talking 7 plus hours. And a big part of the longevity is how the oakmoss comes out earlier. It's really a masculine, classic fragrance. I
really like this one. What to watch next? Guys, you know, I got you covered right here. Go check it out. How to actually wear fragrances without overpowering, without choking people out.
